Product/Service: Victa Vantage 4 stroke mower Description: Lawn Mower Issue/Feedback: Full Details: Victa Vantage 500 Series 4 stroke mower model # VMS464 I purchased this mower from Bunnings and was amazed at how after visiting several of the local mower shops first, none of the people could offer me the excellent advice that I received from a lady at Bunnings. This mower is a US assembled model (apparently the models assembled in China have high product return volumes), so I was pleased to know I was buying quality. This is a mulch mower and is easy to push even in longer grass. It gives an excellent cut and given it is a mulch mower, you do not need the catcher, which in turn naturally feeds your lawn. I have always liked the Briggs and Sratton mowers given my last 4 stroke Briggs and Stratton Lawn King mower lasted me from 1981 to 2001 (20 years). Solution: N/A Conclusion: N/A Recommendation(s): Always buy Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke engine based mowers and if choosing a Victa (which now use the Briggs & Stratton engine), try and purchase the USA engine versions assembled here in Australia. The Briggs & Stratton based mowers from China are fraught with problems as denoted on-line as well. |
